This, here, is my concept design for an OC (or original character) for my as of yet untitled twelve-part, thirty-six-hour epic coming-of-age hero’s journey saga: The White Witch of Shanghara, aka

Shiromajo. She’s the mentor of my main character, as well as the spiritual center of the world of my epic coming of age hero’s journey saga; the one who is aware. And with her very great wisdom and power, not only can The White Witch of Shanghara, or Shiromajo, as she is known in the land of Shanghara, exhort and aid the enemies of the Great Dark Enemy of the World, but also, like an Asian mix of an angel, a white witch, a shaman-woman, and the wise man (or woman) of the classic hero’s journey archetype, she can give the hero the gift of whatever key it is that helps the hero.In other words, The White Witch of Shanghara may be comparable not only to Glinda, The Good Witch of the North in Wizard of Oz, and not only to a shaman-woman, but also to an angel, and indeed in her role in the great war between the forces of good and evil, The White Witch of Shanghara may also be like an Asian female version of the avenging angels of medieval European iconography:Shining like the sun, swift in coming, brandishing a mighty sword, slaying demons and terrible beasts.Anyway, here is the White Witch of Shanghara herself near her hut at the summit of Mount Zeus, the highest point in the Prometheus Mountain Range in the land of Reptaria in my as of yet untitled epic coming of age hero’s journey in twelve parts.

STOP THIS ALREADY YOU AUTIST

Sorry for the two-day absence, but what would define a ‘Disney-meets-Genndy Tartakovsky’ animation art and design graphic style, if there ever exist such a combination of Genndy Tartakovsky’s [Samurai Jack/Dexter’s Laboratory] animation art/design graphic style and the typically softer, more naturalistic Disney feature animation (or Disney Renaissance/Revival) art/design graphic style (or even aspects of both)?

Well, what I would like to do is conceive a film set in a vividly-imagined, vividly realized secondary/alternate world where dinosaurs and advanced modern people (rather than the usual tribes of cave-people) share the same environment (with some ideas/concepts/elements borrowed from the Flintstones, Jurassic Park and/or the Dinotopia books thrown in, for example, modern humans using dinosaurs both as pets and for transportation) as an endearing and/or funny coming of age story/teen comedy/dinosaur-themed action adventure fantasy movie about a teenage boy and girl (which may also find comedy and drama not only in the lives of the main characters’ families and/or the social rounds of small town teenagers, but also in a vividly imagined alternate world where dinosaur and modern man share the earth) and scored with a Phil Collins soundtrack (rather than using the pop music sounds of today)–sorta like a Napoleon Dynamite-meets Jurassic Park-meets Dinotopia-sorta thing.

The tentative working title may be “Another Day and Night in Pangaea”.
